Google Play Store web to allow users post app reviews based on form factor

Google has implemented a new feature on the Play Store that allows users to rate apps based on the specific form factor of their device. Initially, this feature was only available through the Play Store app on the device itself, but now it has been extended to the Play Store website.

Users can now leave ratings for apps by visiting the Play Store website. The Rate This App section now displays tags for different form factors, including Phone, Tablet, Watch, Chromebook, TV, and Auto. This enables users to choose the appropriate form factor on which they have used the app.

However, it should be noted that this new rating feature is currently only visible to a small group of users as it is a server-side change and has not yet been widely rolled out. Therefore, it is possible that not all users will be able to see these new form factor categories on the Play Store website at this time. Nevertheless, it is expected that a broader rollout will occur in the near future.

In addition, Google began displaying user reviews based on geographical region in 2021. This means that individuals in a specific region will see reviews from other users who reside in the same area for a given app.

Furthermore, according to a report from the Google News channel on Telegram, the company has recently introduced dynamic colors across the Play Store interface. However, this development is still in progress and it may take some time before it becomes available to users worldwide.
