Vivek Kulkarni is the Chairman and CEO of Brickwork India based in Bangalore, India, which is a knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) firm that offers Remote Executive Assistant services. Their clients include large Fortune 500 firms, investment bankers, management consultants, senators, hedge funds, healthcare professionals etc. Brickwork has been mentioned by Tom Friedman in his New York Times best seller "The World is Flat, by Tim Ferris in "The 4 hour Workweek", in Business Week China-India survey, Fortune, London Sunday Times, Esquire, several European newspapers, FOX TV and a large number of Indian media.
Vivek has over 25 years of experience in managing different verticals of Business and Government departments. He was the IT (Information Technology) Secretary, Government of Karnataka, Bangalore. During his tenure in Government, he was instrumental in building world-class IT & Biotech institutes and events in Karnataka. He promoted public-private partnership in Governance. He worked actively in marketing Bangalore as the undisputed IT Capital of India. Prior to IT Secretary, he worked as Finance Secretary, Head of CRISIL Advisory Services as well as the Division Chief SEBI. He was a faculty at the Boston University as well as the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. At present, he is a visiting professor at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
He is a charter member of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) as well as public interest Director at the Bombay Stock Exchange. Vivek Kulkarni is a gold medalist in engineering from Karnataka University as well as an MBA from the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania.

B.V. Naidu is the Managing Director of SemIndia Systems. Prior to this, he was the Director of Software Technology Parks of India, Bangalore. He had nucleated the International Communication Services in STPI and grown STPI as an alternate International Communication Service provider in the country. He has actively championed the cause of the software industry and has been a major facilitator in helping the industry grow from less than US $ 2 million from 13 companies in Bangalore to US $ 2.65 billion from 1100 companies by 2002-2003. Mr. BV Naidu is a member of the Karnataka Chief Minister's Task Force on Information Technology, Founder Member of Indian Institute of Information Technology, Founder and Advisory Board Member of Karnataka IT Fund and a very active Charter Member of TiEBangalore. Mr. BV Naidu was awarded M.E. from Madras Institute of Technology and has B.E. from Andhra University.

Prof. N. Balakrishnan received his B.E (Hons.) in Electronics and Communication from the Coimbatore Institute of Technology, University of Madras in 1972 and Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Science in 1979. He is currently the Associate Director of the Indian Institute of Science and a Professor at the Department of Aerospace Engineering and at the Supercomputer Education and Research Centre.
His areas of research where he has over 230 publications in the international journals and international conferences, include Numerical Electromagnetics, High Performance Computing and Networks, Polarimetric Radars and Aerospace Electronic Systems, Information Security, Digital Library and Speech processing.
He has received many awards including the Padmashree by the President of India, 2002, J C Bose National Fellow, 2007, Homi J. Bhabha Award for Applied Sciences, 2004 and the Alumni Award for excellence in Research for Science & Engineering by IISc, 2001. He is a Fellow of the Third World Academy of Sciences, Indian National Science Academy (currently the Vice President), Indian Academy of Sciences, Indian National Academy of Engineering, National Academy of Sciences and Institution of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers.
Prof N. Balakrishnan has given critical inputs in many major national initiatives in IT Planning and in Information Security. He played a key role in the shaping of the Information Security and Cryptanalysis Research Plans and Radar Cross Section Prediction and Management, of DRDO, Technology Facility Organization of India and the CERT-IN of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology. He is also the National Co-ordinator of the Indo-French Cyber University and Indo-US Digital Library Projects (www.ulib.org and www.new.dli.ernet.in ).
